Japan Trip (23rd March-2nd April 2015): Prolog
My chance to do semi-backpack
traveling is sponsored by Japan Study Tour event (http://japanst.web.fc2.com/contents.e.html). I’m glad that I’m a
Physical Therapy a.k.a Physiotherapy student!!! Before we went to Japan, there’re many things
need to prepare and honestly it’s a long-way itinerary I’ve been prepared.
In
August 2014, I filled an online form to confirm me as an early bird member in
Japan Study Tour (JST) which held by Japan Physical Therapy Student Association
(JPTSA). Then, I’m waiting for e-mail confirmation (it took several months). In
November, December, and January, I contacted other Indonesian delegations. They
were Makassar students. We all are five girls.
Then, in January, I submitted my
visa to Japan Embassy through Nusantara Tour Travel Agent service in Surakarta
city. This travel agent is highly recommended! Its place lie around Gede traditional
market (Pasar Gede). I forgot the details, but we bought flight ticket around
January or February. We also booked some hostels through this (www.booking.com) for stayed before going to
our homestay which provided by JST staff.
FYI, Japan visa is FREE for
undergraduate student. When applying visa, we must consider our time of arrival and living in Japan because VISA IS VALID JUST FOR 3 MONTHS
since we applied it in Japan Embassy and since we arrived in Japan, visa for
temporary visitor will valid for 15 days.
